Information about cookies

1. What are cookies and why we use them

Cookies are small files which are stored on a user’s computer. They are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular user and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the user’s computer.

Cookies allow said website, among other things, to store and retrieve information about the user’s decisions and habits. We use them to personalize the experience within our websites, identify and remember the registered user and facilitate navigation.

Importantly, the use of cookies does not provide personal data of the user, who remains anonymous.

The user can configure their browser to not accept the use of cookies, in which case the personalization of the experience would not apply although they can continue accessing the contents normally.

On the Wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie) it is possible to obtain more information about cookies and how they work.

2. What type of cookies are used?

Statistical analysis cookies:

These allow us to quantify the number of visitors and statistically analyse the use made by the users of our services. Thanks to this we can study the navigation on the website and thus improve the offer of products or services we offer.

Cookies of a technical nature and customization:

These allow us to control aspects related to the user’s session, so that we can improve the browsing experience within the website. For example:

We can recognize the user’s language.

Prevent or hinder attacks against the website or its users.

Help us to provide the correct reproduction of multimedia content.

Improve performance, allowing our machines to distribute web traffic across multiple servers.

For more information in this regard you can consult the Guide on the use of cookies of the Spanish Agency for Data Protection (https://www.aepd.es/)
